Pebbles, pieces of wood, and other found objects are wrapped by hand with naturally dyed threads. Each carries its own place and time.
As they move from one place to another, and from one hand to another, they gather new memories and stories along the way.
Things Adrift is a series about objects that carry memories as they continue their journey.
旅や移動の中で出会い、拾われたものたち。
石や木片など、それぞれ異なる場所と時間を持つものに、自然染めした糸を手で巻きつけています。
ひとつの場所から別の場所へ、誰かの手からまた別の誰かの手へ。
ものが移動するたびに、新しい記憶や物語が重なっていく。
漂流するものたちは、そうして記憶を運びながら、旅を続けていくものたちのシリーズです。
